Our Mindfulness Awareness (Level 1) course will introduce you to Mindfulness, helping you to understand how it can benefit you and those around you.

We will look at what mindfulness is and dispel a few common misconceptions. We will look at the evidence base and explore how it can benefit you personally and can help the young people in your care. There will be opportunities to experience some of our meditation practices such as a body awareness and breathing exercises.

By the end of the session, we hope you will be curious to learn more and embed some mindfulness practices into your daily life. 

The 2-hour awareness course is a great starting point for those looking to undertake a more in-depth intensive course and to explore the use of Mindfulness within schools and workplaces.
